Many say Tim Tebow doesnât possess the skills to be a successful starting quarterback in the NFL. Tebow is tremendously skilled, however, Â in answering critics. And the critics are not letting up.
Former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason, who hosts a morning New York radio show, is the latest to bash the former Heisman Trophy winner, and Esiasonâs opinion continues to reverberate via the New York airwaves.
âIf I were the Jets . . . I would cut Tim Tebow, I really would,â the four-time Pro Bowl quarterback said during his show. âIt's not in any way, shape or form, I think, benefiting this team.
âAll you have to do is watch him throw the ball. I just think this whole thing, at least from my perspective right now in relation to who Mark Sanchez is -- your starting quarterback -- is a major mistake.â
Tebow never seems to make a mistake when presented such criticisms, though. Â When it comes to snap answers, he delivers with class.
âI've heard nothing but great things about Mr. Esiason,â Tebow said. âI know he was a great player here, and I just wish him nothing but the best in his announcing and God bless him.â
