Tim Tebow not bothered by Boomer Esiason's criticism - Los Angeles Times

Many say Tim Tebow doesn’t possess the skills to be a successful starting quarterback in the NFL. Tebow is tremendously skilled, however,  in answering critics. And the critics are not letting up.

Former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason, who hosts a morning New York radio show, is the latest to bash the former Heisman Trophy winner, and Esiason’s opinion continues to reverberate via the New York airwaves.

“If I were the Jets . . . I would cut Tim Tebow, I really would,” the four-time Pro Bowl quarterback said during his show. “It's not in any way, shape or form, I think, benefiting this team.

“All you have to do is watch him throw the ball. I just think this whole thing, at least from my perspective right now in relation to who Mark Sanchez is -- your starting quarterback -- is a major mistake.”

Tebow never seems to make a mistake when presented such criticisms, though.  When it comes to snap answers, he delivers with class.

“I've heard nothing but great things about Mr. Esiason,” Tebow said. “I know he was a great player here, and I just wish him nothing but the best in his announcing and God bless him.”
