It almost goes without saying at this point: If you are a football personality and you go on a national sports show you are going to be asked about New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow.
Hate it or hate it, errr, I mean, love it or hate it, itâs going to happen.
It was no different when Hall of Fame defensive end Howie Long  joined âNFL AMâ Wednesday morning. (Câmon, you thought a show with a âDaily Tebowâ segment wasnât going to ask about the mediaâs favorite backup quarterback.)
âItâs interesting. He (Tebow) handles his detractors with Ghandi-like poise,â Long said. âThe only difference is heâs a 250-pound Ghandi that will run you over.
âHe might be the most positive guy Iâve ever seen. Through the ups, the downs, the plusses, the minuses, three quarters, fourth quarter, last part of the game, heâs so positive, he makes Tony Robbins look like heâs in a full depression.â
In case you are keeping score, Long compared Tebow to both a non-violent civil disobedience leader and a famous American self-help author.
