Wes Welker sat for roughly 30 minutes and took questions from the media earlier today at a Brooklyn film studio.
Writers bopped in and out from the session, moving from player to player. That meant some questions got a bit repetitive. One in particular for Welker.
So, what do you think of Tim Tebow being traded to the Jets?
By my count, and I stood in for the full half hour, Welker was asked that question, or some version of it, a half-dozen different times. Hereâs what the playful Pats receiver said:
The first time:Â âObviously, he did a lot of great things in Denver. Heâs a great football player, a great competitor. We look forward to having him in the division and hopefully being able to stop him.â
The third time: âIâm so fired up. Iâm just so fired up.â
The fifth time: âGeez. I donât know . . . . Wâell just have to wait and see.â
Yes, Welker was a bit Tebow-ed out.
