Wes Welker talks Tim Tebow once, twice, three times, and more - Boston Herald (blog)

Wes Welker sat for roughly 30 minutes and took questions from the media earlier today at a Brooklyn film studio.

Writers bopped in and out from the session, moving from player to player. That meant some questions got a bit repetitive. One in particular for Welker.

So, what do you think of Tim Tebow being traded to the Jets?

By my count, and I stood in for the full half hour, Welker was asked that question, or some version of it, a half-dozen different times. Here’s what the playful Pats receiver said:

The first time:  ”Obviously, he did a lot of great things in Denver. He’s a great football player, a great competitor. We look forward to having him in the division and hopefully being able to stop him.”

The third time: ”I’m so fired up. I’m just so fired up.”

The fifth time: ”Geez. I don’t know . . . . W’ell just have to wait and see.”

Yes, Welker was a bit Tebow-ed out.
