Tim Tebow may never start a game for the New York Jets. If you would have said that before Week 1 people would have thought that it was a given.

Not after Mark Sanchez's performance. Not after the Jets hung 48 on the Buffalo Bills. Now Sanchez and the Jets get a beaten and battered Pittsburgh Steelers' defense that is very capable of being gashed as we saw Sunday night in Denver.

Tebow is seeing his chances of starting a game diminish by the week, and now there are trade rumors that he is reportedly denying, according to Kimberley A. Martin of NewsDay.com.

His services would be best served on another team, with a clear chance of winning a starting position. Unfortunately there aren't too many options on the market in 2013, but I'm sure he could find at least one team to land on.

Obviously, Tebow is a competitor and a force of nature, but his passing is porous to be generous. He can't read defenses, struggles against pressure, can't connect on easy passes and his timing is atrocious.

Tell us something we don't know, I know. But the reason why he will get a chance on another team is the fact that he is a competitor and because he played well (at times) with the Broncos, especially against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Wild Card Game when he put up 316 yards passing.

Tebow joining the Jets was a train-wreck as soon as it was announced. We all knew that he didn't fit with the Jets. We all knew that he wanted to be a starter in the NFL just like every other quarterback. 

We are only one game in and we are seeing a distraction. This is coming off a 20 point victory! That is absurd.

The Jets love publicity whether they win or lose. It appears that will be the case with Tebow in 2012.

Tebow's next destination must be where he can start, not play second fiddle. Sanchez isn't the greatest quarterback but he isn't the worst, either. He made it to back-to-back AFC Championship Games.

That means something, right?

Tebow to the Jets was an awful decision in the beginning and it appears it's only going to get worse until he's under center on a full-time basis.
