Eli Manning doesn't mind the New York Jets grabbing most of the New York media's attention this offseason.
"No, I am not jealous," Manning told WEPN-FM's "The Michael Kay Show" on Thursday. "I told (Giants backup quarterback) David Carr to take his shirt off while we were running sprints after practice to see if he can get the same coverage."

That -- in case you've been on summer vacation to a non-Tim Tebow-following country -- was a reference to the Jets' backup quarterback's recent shirtless jog through the rain, replayed, ad nauseum, in slow-motion on a seemingly endless loop for days.
Appearing on the same radio show on which he started a firestorm last year by claiming he was an elite quarterback (a notion that was widely ridiculed at the time), the New York Giants signal-caller playfully deflected questions about the G-Men's less successful, but more talked-about, crosstown rivals.
"I think this is about football," he said. "Training camp for me is time to get the team together and go practice football. You think of training camp as time to interview all the football players, but for me it is about practice. Every time you turn on the TV, it's the Jets. "SportsCenter" is camped out at the Jets complex.
"I think they are moving everything from Bristol (ESPN headquarters in Connecticut) to right there to their complex over there," Manning joked. "That will be an interesting move."
Looks like hosting "Saturday Night Live" -- and winning his second Super Bowl MVP award -- has done wonders for Manning's sense of humor.
