First Tim Tebow got his own restaurant table at Philippe's New York, and now it's his own deli sandwich. http://bit.ly/HiU4Jq
But it's not cheap -- or small.
Manhattan's Carnegie Deli has named its massive creation the "Jet Bow" and it will bring you to your knees.
It weighs 4 lbs. and costs $22.22, according to CBS News. http://bit.ly/HdwO2A
The towering sandwich contains pastrami, corned beef, roast beef, American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and mayonnaise piled high on white bread, according to the CBS report.
It's a variation on the deli's traditional sandwich, especially made to honor the town's newest Jets
quarterback, Â Tebow, 24, who was traded to the Jets from the Broncos last month."Seventy-five years, we've always made sandwiches on rye bread," Carnegie's Sandy Levine told CBS. "This time, we put it on white bread and we used mayonnaise, not mustard. This is sacrosanct in delis, but we realize who Tim Tebow is. He's an outstanding citizen. He's the all-American boy."
Ashton Kutcher aced out Justin Bieber to buy his new Hollywood Hills home. http://nydn.us/HaNTd0
Kutcher had been renting the glass-walled two-story home for $50,000 a month after his breakup with wife Demi Moore, according to Realtor.com.
It was earlier reported that Bieber was considering buying the home for $10.8 million for his 18th birthday present to himself. Problem was Kutcher was already living there and thinking about buying it himself.
The home was completed in 2007 and has great views of Lake Hollywood. According to the listing, it is made of two glass and steel boxes that are "perched in and cantilevered from a series of exposed poured concrete walls."
 Steve Wozniak says
he supports the choice of Ashton Kutcher to play Steve Jobs in a movie about his Apple co-founder.The philanthropist told TMZ, "I'm glad that he's onboard." http://bit.ly/HU08Iq
The movie, which begins filming in May, will chart Steve's journey from "wayward hippie to co-founder of Apple."
Wozniak said, "The fear that many might have is that Ashton was selected because he's 'hot' right now. But I feel that his selection was done in the most professional manner. And I'm glad that he's onboard. I think he'll put a lot into it and that he cares about this particular subject."
Apparently Kutcher is not taking the part lightly.
Producer Mark
Hulme told Flash that Kutcher is immersing himself in the role."He is already meeting with folks that knew Steve Jobs. He's working with professionals to get inside the voice. He's letting his hair grow out. I understand he's canceled all meetings and actually canceled all other projects," says Hulme, according to The Daily.
Wozniak told TMZ that Jobs would have been a big help on the story.
"It's almost too bad that Steve Jobs is gone. His opinions and guidance, as to the story and film crew and cast would have been invaluable."
Adele is getting big payback for Karl Lagerfeld's "fat" comments about her. http://bit.ly/yKd6X0
The
Chanel Creative director has shamelessly groveled after apologizing to the Grammy winner and has sent her a range of the label's handbags.According to The Sun, 'He told his team to send Adele the best the fashion house has to offer after hearing she collected bags.
'He's annoyed with himself because he ended up insulting her when he meant to compliment her. He thinks she's beautiful and calls her divine.'
Lagerfeld, 78, apologized for the negative comments he made to a French magazine earlier this year.
Fans were appalled, with even Madonna calling Lagerfeld's words 'horrible.'
Adele chose not to comment directly, but told People magazine in a well-timed interview, 'I represent the majority of women
and I'm very proud of that.'Within days of the dustup, the German designer issued a statement to the Someone Like You star. 'I'd like to say to Adele that I am your biggest admirer,' he said at the time.
'Sometimes when you take a sentence out of the article it changes the meaning of the thought. Adele is my favorite singer and I am a great admirer of her.'
Lagerfeld added that he admired Adele for being so strong in the face of comments regarding her weight.
