New York Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow might be preparing for a football life that has nothing to do with him dropping back to pass this season.
Tebow weighed in at 249 pounds, according the New York Daily News and that suggests that he is preparing his body for the punishment he might take while running the wildcat formation and various special teams packages the Jets have for him. One includes Tebow being using as a punt protector.
ESPN reported that Tebow placed second in a Jets player vote of the top weightlifter of the offseason.
