Since the New York Jets have two of the most marketable quarterbacks in the NFL on their roster in Tim Tebow and Mark Sanchez, it's no surprise that both men have appeared in tons of commercials in recent years.
Here's a look at the top five best commercials featuring Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow:
1) Toyota "Sanchize" Commercial: Mark Sanchez definitely has a future in acting. His fun-loving, super laid-back personality made him awesome in the Toyota commercial that did a hilarious play on his "Sanchize" nickname.
In the 30 second clip, a Toyota car salesman tells Sanchez he wishes he had a cool nickname like "the Sanchize." Sanchez then responds "You don't have a nickname?" The salesman then responds that he does have a nickname, but it's not as cool as "the Sanchize." Seconds later, the salesman's boss walks in and says "Good work today, Pookie!"
2) Pepsi Max Mark Sanchez Commercial: Sanchez didn't have any lines in this Pepsi Max commercial from a few years back, but his hilarious handoff of a two-liter Pepsi bottle to a Pepsi employee who was running drills on a football field, was absolutely genius. Later in the clip, Sanchez chugs a Pepsi Max and then tosses it as if it was a football.
3) Tim Tebow FRS Commercial: This is one of my all-time favorite ads, as it's quite inspiring and motivational. It shows how Tebow used the words of his haters to fuel his success.
In the ad, Tebow says "They said I couldn't be a high school quarterback. They said I couldn't get a D-1 scholarship. You can't make it. You're not good enough. You're not skilled enough. They said I couldn't win a Heisman. They said I couldn't win a National Championship. They said I couldn't play in the league. Appreciate that."
4) Focus On The Family: Whether or not you agree with the message of Tim Tebow's "Focus On The Family" Super Bowl ad that appeared in front of a national audience in 2010, you have to appreciate that he had the guts to stand up for what he believes in. It's essentially a pro-life, anti-abortion commercial that caused a bit of a stir when it originally aired.
5) CBS Cares: This commercial, which aired during the 2010 Super Bowl, had women across the country instantly become Mark Sanchez fans.
He came across as very romantic and gentlemanly, as he said "I've got something to say to women watching the Super Bowl. This is the actual sound of my heart beat. I'm sharing my heart to let you know that the symptoms of women's heart attacks can be different than mens. Learn more. You're important to me."
