Tim Tebow will host the second annual Tim Tebow Foundation Celebrity Weekend next week at TPC Sawgrass. The former Gator and current New York Jets QB will be on hand for a celebrity gala and tournament.
UF coach Will Muschamp and former Gators Mike and Maurkice Pouncey, Fred Taylor and Danny Wuerffel are among those expected to attend. Shawne Merriman, Gary Sheffield, Scott Van Pelt, Jordin Sparks, Lindsey Vonn, Leon Washington, Bubby Watson, Scott Hanson Rascal Flatts and Fred Durst will also participate.
Fans can purchase tickets to the golf tournament, which starts Saturday at 9 a.m. at the TPC Sawgrass Stadium Course. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for anyone under 18. They can be purchased at www.timtebowfoundation.org.
Funds raised for the event go to the foundation, which is helping to build a children’s hospital in the Philippines, building playrooms in other children’s hospitals and supporting orphans worldwide.
