Tim Tebow will ditch the suit for the Gang Green uniform during the week of Aug. 9-12 against the Cincinatti.
Tim Tebow will begin his Jets career in the same place he did with the Broncos two years ago.
Gang Greenâs newest weapon will be unveiled in their preseason opener in Cincinnati. Rex Ryanâs team will face the Bengals during the week of Aug. 9-12, the NFL announced on Wednesday. The Jets will host the Giants in MetLife Stadium in Week 2 of the preseason (Aug. 16-19). Itâs the first time the crosstown rivals will face each other since the Giantsâ 29-14 win over Gang Green on Christmas Eve sparked their Super Bowl run.
The Jets will play in prime time in a nationally televised NBC game against Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers Sunday, Aug. 26. Itâs the fourth consecutive season that the Jets have had a nationally televised pre-season game. They wrap up the preseason schedule at the Eagles on Thursday, Aug. 30.
All eyes will be on Tebow in the opener. In 2010, he made his pro debut by completing eight of 13 passes for 105 yards against the Bengals. He also rushed for a 7-yard touchdown.
The NFL is expected to announce the regular-season schedule during the week of April 16.
