Are you a huge sports fan? Have you ever dreamed of attending the ESPYs and rubbing shoulders with top athletes from every sport out there? Are you a fan of New York Jets QB Tim Tebow? If you are like me and answered yes to every one of these questions, then the underwear company Jockey International, Inc. has a contest for you and time is running out to enter.
What are the ESPYs?
The ESPYs is ESPNs annual awards show and is the red carpet event for the world of sports. With athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB, Olympics and much more, the ESPYs offer an event like no other. If you are a sports fan, this is the event of the year. The ESPYs recognize individual and team athletic achievements based on the votes from fans around the world.
Who is Tim Tebow?
Now, if I have to answer this question, I am not sure you can really call yourself a sports fan. If you have watched just about any sports coverage during the last year or so, Tebow's name is bound to have popped up somewhere. He is the former Denver Broncos QB that led the Broncos to the playoffs in 2011 and is now a backup QB for the New York Jets. He is also the spokesperson for Jockey's Staycool line of underwear and T-shirts for both men and women. He sparked the worldwide phenomenon known as Tebowing, or getting down on one knee to pray.
What is this contest?
Jockey International has launched their "Staycool at The ESPYs" sweepstakes as a way to celebrate their product and offer six lucky winners a trip to the ESPYs and a meet and greet with Tim Tebow. The winning package includes two tickets to the ESPYs on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, a meet and greet with Tim Tebow, airfare for two to Los Angeles, hotel accommodations and $500 stipend. You can enter in a variety of ways including online through Jockey's website, via participating retailers such as Bealls, Belk, Boscov's, Lord & Taylor and Navy Exchange or by text. Now, I don't know about you, but this is one contest that I will be sure to enter as often as the rules allow. While meeting Tebow would be great, the entire experience of the ESPYs would be a dream come true event for any sports fan.
