Tim Tebow will join with celebrities from around the country this weekend in support of the Tim Tebow Foundationâs mission.
That mission to bring faith, hope and love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need, according to a foundation news release.
The weekendâs festivities begin Friday with an exclusive invitation only Celebrity Gala. Then on Saturday, Tebow hosts a tournament unlike any other, incorporating games and activities into each hole on the course, including a Jockey Stay Cool Under Pressure football throw for added yardage, a Hoop it Up contest for mulligans and spectator putt for free stroke, to name a few.
The golf tournament has a 9 a.m. shotgun start Saturday at TPC Sawgrass Stadium Course in Jacksonville.
Expected guests are Masters champion Bubba Watson, Fred Durst, Scott Hanson, Will Muschamp, Maurkice and Mike Pouncey, Rascal Flatts, Shawne Merriman, Gary Sheffield, Jordin Sparks, Fred Taylor, Scott Van Pelt, Lindsey Vonn, Leon Washington, Danny Wuerffel and more.
How can the public get involved?
1. The celebrity gala event is sold out, however fans may purchase tickets to the golf tournament and watch as the celebrities and amateurs take on the world famous TPC Sawgrass Stadium Course. Tickets are available for $25 for adults and $15 for under 18. They can be purchased at www.timtebowfoundation.org
2. Fans who cannot attend can still be part of the weekendâs festivities, by joining in the bidding online for the silent auction held on Friday. More information on silent auction online bidding will be available early next week at www.timtebowfoundation.org
The funds raised through the weekendâs events will support the Tim Tebow Foundationâs mission, which is being fulfilled through the building of playrooms in childrenâs hospitals, support for orphans worldwide, building a childrenâs hospital in the Philippines, and making dreams come true for children with life-threatening illnesses.
